Kali Kreller is an applied psychology practitioner who works with individual adults with a wide range of issues and problems including: anxiety; depression/low mood; stress; anger/aggression; assertiveness; autism spectrum disorder; body image; exam stress; gender/sexual identity; insomnia; loneliness; low self-esteem; obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD); phobias; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); relationship concerns; relaxation; trauma; and many more issues.

Kali's way of working

Kali is a compassionate, empathetic and creative therapist who works collaboratively with each client. She approaches therapy from a humanistic perspective, believing that everyone is capable of growth, and tailors her approach to meet the individual needs and preferences of each client. She offers counselling and may introduce elements from other approaches if she feels these would be helpful for a client. 
 

Kali's background and training

Kali has experience working as a volunteer counsellor for two UK charities supporting people struggling with the impact of perinatal issues and those dealing with bereavement/loss. She has also held a range of supporting roles within First Psychology for a number of years.  Before coming to the UK, Kali worked as a frontline crisis counsellor for a women's shelter in Ontario, Canada as well as working in a number of support and carer roles for a variety of other organisations/projects.  

Kali has a COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate from The Centre of Therapy and a Professional Certificate in Pluralistic CBT from the First Psychology Institute. In addition, she has an MSc (by Research) in Counselling Studies from the University of Edinburgh and she is currently in the final stages of a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University. 

Kali is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
