Craig's way of working

Craig takes a holistic approach to health. He aims to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each person so that they can feel like an equal in the room, and feel safe enough to explore their issues and challenges without judgement. Craig tailors his approach to meet the individual needs and preferences of each person. He integrates elements from a number of therapies/approaches into his work including: Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Assertive Skills Training, and Coaching. He is also open to the practice of many and varied self-help strategies, including inward-looking eastern practices such as yoga, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, progressive muscular relaxation, and many more. He believes that traditional western medical approaches hold some answers but definitely not all, and that emotional healing comes from within.
