Works as Business Manager at First Psychology Centre, Edinburgh.
Paul brings a wealth of business experience and knowledge to his role. He has extensive experience of both retail and health / wellbeing organisations, and has held business-related and practice management roles in the occupational health, cosmetics and dentistry sectors. He has also worked extensively as a leadership coach and as a business consultant with small to medium sized businesses.
Paul has a passion for the wellbeing field. In addition to his business-related qualifications and experience, Paul holds a BSc (hons) degree in Psychology, a Diploma in Clinical and Pastoral Counselling, a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring. He is a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS) and he is currently completing an MSc in Human Resource Management.
During his previous studies, Paul has undertaken research into: the effect of differing cognitive effort in encoding and remembering abstract words and images and the consequence this has on memory recall; the variability and strength of attachment and relationships between dizygotic twin siblings from childhood into adulthood; and whether perceived status of eye witnesses has an impact on the misinformation effect in eye witness testimony.
Paul's current interests include employee wellbeing in the workplace and employee management.
