Catherine's way of working

Catherine uses a range of evidence-based approaches and techniques in her therapy work including: cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic and person-centred counselling. She works in a flexible and collaborative way with clients, putting each client at the centre of what she does and tailoring her approach to meet their individual needs and preferences. Catherine believes a strong therapeutic relationship is important in successful therapy and she will work to build this relationship during sessions. Catherine offers time-limited sessions that are focused and goal oriented, or longer-term psychotherapy during which more complex issues can be explored.
