Counselling Psychologist Professor Ewan Gillon and his team invite you to join this useful and informative free event which could change the way you behave for good! Thanks to modern living each of us faces stressful situations every day, but it's how we handle this stress which makes the difference to our lives.
We respond to stress in different, often destructive ways - over indulging in food and drink, becoming anxious, aggressive or upset, and a range of other responses. Our friendships and relationships can often suffer too, not to mention how we feel about ourselves.
Well now it's time to take control and change the way you handle stress forever.
This event will focus on:
- Understanding common triggers for stress and the destructive patterns of behaviour they can produce
- Developing core strategies to identify and address stress-related behaviour
- De-escalating and managing stress in acute pressure situations
- Developing a healthy stress management programme for the future
- Building personal resilience and a 'stress style' that works for you
