Lindsay Crago, Counsellor / Psychotherapist and Couples Counsellor
Lindsay is an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist who offers counselling to individual adults and to couples. She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and of The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Lindsay's work has evolved from a long-standing interest in psychology, individual experiences of suffering, interpersonal dynamics, and wellness. Her background includes degrees in Anthropology (Medical) and Counselling Psychology.
She has worked as a practitioner in various settings including primary health care, higher education, and the voluntary sector.
Lindsay works collaboratively and interactively with her clients. She draws on theory, research, and practice from various psychology and counselling models (Psychodynamic, CBT and Person-Centred) to offer a flexible, integrated approach.
Lindsay offers both short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy and has experience working with a broad range of difficulties. She has undertaken specialist training in trauma, gender and sexuality and has particular experience working with these issues as well as relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, self-harm, and disordered eating.
Lindsay charges £50 a session for self-funding clients. She has a range of fees for employers and organisations that are available on request.
